How do I find the electronic instructions for use for a specific product?
Select the product you want from the main list, clicking on the descriptive image or product reference. You can also perform a search in the top section which has been created for this purpose, the search fields are: name or product identifier (UDI-DI). An example of this identifier may be 084353898***** or (01)084353898***** (available on product labeling). The results will show the approved instructions for use (IFU) for the selected product model.
How can I view the electronic instructions for use?
Click on the view image (VIEW) in the search results. The file will appear in your web browser. The file can be viewed, saved or printed using the Adobe Reader function. A free pdf reader is available here via Adobe Inc. (link https://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/). The recommended web browsers are: Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer (IE) and Safari.
What languages are the electronic instructions for use available in?
The electronic instructions for use are available in the language established by the country where the product is sold.
Why is the product not in my language?
The product may not be approved in the desired language and/or approved for electronic instructions for use at that moment in time.
Can I use the electronic instructions for use from another country (language of that country)?
No. Only the electronic instructions for use that are approved for the country (language) in question should be used.
How can I view the previous versions of the electronic instructions for use?
The search results will display a function to expand and show the previous versions, the number of documents and the review dates.
